Four projects and what they solved.

For each project, we explain the original problem, what we built, and the result for the team using it.

01 Staffing operations

Worker request application

Problem

Holiday, sick leave, and contract requests arrived through calls, email, and messages. Workers could not see the status, and the back office had no shared queue.

What we built

A worker-facing request app with a back-office review queue. Each request records its type, documents, status, owner, and review history. Client contact stays blocked until an internal reviewer approves it.

Result

Workers can check their request status. The back office manages every request from one queue. Client communication follows the same approval process every time.

02 CRM automation

Slack to HubSpot lead capture

Problem

Team members shared new leads in Slack, then recreated the contact, deal, owner, and follow-up task in HubSpot by hand.

What we built

A Slack form that validates the lead details, creates or updates the HubSpot contact and deal, applies routing rules, assigns an owner, schedules follow-up, and posts a confirmation back to Slack.

Result

The team enters the lead once. HubSpot receives the complete record, correct owner, and next task without a second round of data entry.

03 Finance operations

Recurring QuickBooks workflow

Problem

A recurring finance process required staff to prepare source data, check records, and repeat the same QuickBooks steps for every run.

What we built

A workflow that reads the source data, runs validation checks, prepares the accounting actions, separates exceptions for review, and records what happened during each run.

Result

Routine items follow the same process every time. Finance staff spend their attention on exceptions instead of repeating the full procedure.

04 Internal knowledge

HR knowledge assistant

Problem

Employees repeatedly asked HR for policy information. Answers depended on who was available and which document they remembered to check.

What we built

A search assistant over approved HR documents. It respects access rules and shows the source used for each answer so employees can verify the information.

Result

Employees can find approved answers without waiting for HR. The HR team keeps control of the source documents and can update the knowledge in one place.
